'Enemies To Lovers' - Katie Wood Single Review
Goth Pop artist Katie Wood released her 4th single 'Enemies To Lovers' on 16th July.
Inspired by the 90's cult TV classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 'Enemies To Lovers' takes on an anti-hero perspective and explores the often exciting topic of the enemies to lovers trope.
Katie says she finds inspiration from TV and films, and they love film scores; "I saw a resemblance in relationships I've had to Buffy and Spike's. Their love is complicated and its never easy. There is undeniable chemistry that I wanted to capture in the music. By no means am I romanticising the violence in their relationship, however there's just something about them together. When it's good, it's hot!" - I love the topic of this song - more people should write songs about stuff like this!

Continuing the nostalgic theme with dreamy synths, muted guitar hooks and distinctive vocals, this song is perfect for a night on the Bronze dancefloor. Bring it on Sunnydale!
