  Sean from Ivypaint Talks: Their Collaboration with Kellin Quinn, Emo National Anthems and Kurt Cobain Ivypaint are a pop punk band from Orlando, consisting of Sean Duong (vocals, rhythm guitar), Adam Chenkus (bass), Christian Wheeler (lead guitar) and Jason Flanders (drums).  I first found them when they came up on my For You Page on TikTok with a brilliant cover of 'Teenagers' by My Chemical Romance. I then went to investigate them on Spotify and found some amazing tracks that I've been listening to ever since. My particular favourites are 'Head Rush', 'Melatonin' and 'Lake Bessie'. They have said that they are influenced by Neck Deep, Waterparks and Blink-182 - all brilliant bands, and I would add that fans of Fall Out Boy and All Time Low would love their music too!  They have a new single '50/50' out on March 5th featuring Kellin Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens. I took this opportunity to ask Sean some questions about the band and their

  Region - 'Idkwhyidkwhere' Single Review by Grace Calver Region are a young rock band from Devon, made up of Luke (lead vocals and bass), Rio (drums) and Will (guitar and backing vocals). Their newest single 'Idkwhyidkwhere' is out 20th February 2021. The fast-paced song starts with an exciting guitar riff which grabs your attention and sticks in your head. The distorted guitar is combined with energetic drums, and bass which powerfully drives the song along.  'Idkwhyidkwhere' is an appealing indie rock song, with a catchy melody and a raw energy about the vocals, showing such confidence, and it is a great start to 2021 for them.  My initial thoughts on the song were "wow that's a cool guitar riff" and perhaps only Nintendo fans will understand this, but;  "I can imagine this soundtracking a hardcore Mario Kart race!" 

  Novacain - 'Wasting Time' Single Review          by Grace Calver Novacain are a 4 piece indie rock band from Portsmouth. The band consists of Andrew, Mike, Dan and Lloyd. 'Wasting Time' is their new single - out today - and it's a banger!  They say their influences are Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian and you can hear this in their songs.  The lyrics of 'Wasting Time' to me are about realising whats important in life and to stop worrying about things that aren't. There's a strong start with the fast paced drums and a captivating guitar riff, brilliant vocals engage you further and the guitar solo makes you want to air guitar along. It's definitely a song to have on repeat, to dance and sing along to.  This song should come with a warning that you're going to be singing "and all my life I've just been wasting time" all day.  'Wasting Time' ticks every box.
